LoftbOX was created by Buba Karagyozova, a multidisciplinary designer graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven. With a background in woodworking and a passion for meaningful, material-driven design, she explores themes of memory, functionality, and transformation.

The idea for LoftbOX began with a personal memory—her father’s love for windsurfing—and evolved into a spatial solution for compact living. Merging emotional value with practical design, she reimagines discarded materials not as waste, but as vessels of quiet movement and renewed purpose.

This project is her graduation work, reflecting both her design ethos and her belief in thoughtful reuse, subtle storytelling, and adaptive systems.
